I have a chance to buy a Kubota B 8200 that is blowing oil out the breather. It has a mower deck, tiller,loader,and sno blower. I can buy it for $3500.00 what is your opinion . The tractor has 650hrs on it the owner said he did not change the oil very often, could it have a plugged breather system? I have never owned a foreign tractor before, but it sound resonable to me.

Thats not to many hours for a machine of that vintage if it's the first time around for the tach. I would question the blow-by and try and get a fix on oil consumption. I would say it would be a ring problem at worst everything else should be fine. Maybe it just needs a good work out to seat everything in well. The don't hae power stering but if the machine looks like 550 hours it's a good buy. ....

Just paid 8500 for a B8200HX W/ Loader and hoe. Runs great, needed 2 frt tires 1284 hrs. COULD USE SOME PINS. 3500 DOES'NT SOUND BAD ....
